Hello All,
The math homework sent home today is a challenging sheet.  I know you kids can do it we have been practicing this all week.  Remember the perimeter is the measurement of the outside and the area is the measurement of the inside.  Take your time doing this sheet and we will go over it tomorrow!  Persevere!

Hello everyone!  I wanted to wish everybody a happy holiday.  I hope you all rest up well and enjoy your time off.  The end of the day was a bit crazy.  I am hoping all the kids filled our their agenda's, if not they need to read for twenty minutes a day for ten of the days off.  I told them they needed to make sure they fill out their log for each day.  They also need to log onto Xtramath 3 times each week.  Have a happy new year too!

We had a great time at our Native American exhibit today.  We got to see real animal pelts, arrowheads, tomahawks, spears, right from our area.  If you ever want to see it you can go to the town hall and visit the museum.  They open back up in April!

Good Afternoon,
A quick message about the recent test that was given this week.  I am not sending them home until next week.  This was a grade level test given to all fourth graders that is new this year.  We will be meeting as a grade level early next week to discuss scoring and evaluate the test. We as a grade level want to make sure that we are showing consistency in all classrooms.  Thank you for your patience.

As of right now the only way to print a document off of the blog is to click the small image of the document such as the reading log to make it bigger.  You then have to copy and paste it to a word document.  Have a great night and looking forward to seeing you on the 2nd for Open House!

On today's newsletter I wrote that the log in numbers and passwords for Manga Math will be coming home and I forgot to hand them out...very sorry.  They will get them on Monday, plus we will be going to the computer lab to go onto the math website as well next week.  Have a great weekend all!

At the top of this page you will see a tab that reads Manga High Math, this is a great website for your kids to become more fluent in math.  I have set it up so that each child has his or her own user number and password.  They are being sent home Friday the 13...spooky :).   When you click on the tab click the button that reads "Can't find school?" Then type this code in: 160185.  You will be directed to a student log in page for Hilton, put your child's information in there and they can start doing the challenges I have assigned.  There are due dates for each challenge.  We will also be spending some time on this website during computer lab time.  Enjoy!
